Sustaining yourself is an ongoing process. Blink. Withstand. Blink. Reflect. Blink. Focus. This video is a self-experiment. What happens when I turn around my own axis and film it. Which emotions are shown and which are not? With the narrowly selected cut, in which the viewer can see me, there is a certain smallness. With the cleavage, the darkness and the blinking, I also want to create a certain uneasiness in the viewer. Due to the silence and the darkness, the space moves closer together, whereby the viewer has to confront the video and the feelings in themself.
